What do we do at SHC? We learn about the fundamentals of journalism, what it means to represent the voice of teen culture and we find out how our voices can impact the larger community. Oh yeah, and we talk about how to keep our bodies healthy and sex-related stuff.

At SHC we want to make sure that whether you are sexually active, are practicing abstinence, or are thinking about having sex, you know what it means to be safe, to be protected and to be smart. In addition to ShoutOut, we also create cool media pieces for radio and print, facilitate parent workshops, conduct teen-to-teen workshops and provide teens with confidential and convenient access to condoms.
